1.1           House to Home Surveys Ltd, trading as “House to Home Chartered Surveyors (“House to Homes” “we”, “us”, “our”) is a    limited liability company registered in England and Wales, number 12151574. House to Homes registered office address is Unit 3C

The Gattinetts, Hadleigh Road, East Bergholt, CO7 6QT. House to Home is also registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZB539591.

1.2           House to Home operates the website www.housetohomesurveys.co.uk (the “Site”), which provides an online platform that allows customers to book a surveying service and request a quotation.

 

1.3           By accessing or using the Site through any means, you are agreeing to be bound by:

  • these terms and conditions which govern your use of the Site (the "Terms")

  • our Privacy Policy which sets out how we process personal data we collect from or about you

  • our Cookie Policy which explains the cookies that we use on the Site.

1.7           If you do not agree to these Terms or to any changes made to them, you must not use, and must cease using, the Site.

6           REQUESTING A SURVEY/QUOTATION

 

6.1         By making an enquiry for a service via the Site, you agree and confirm:

 

6.1.1 all the information you have provided to us is accurate and correct and you are the person whose details you have provided;

 

6.1.2 you can enter into a legally binding agreement with us;

 

6.1.3 you will only use the Site for the purposes envisaged by these Terms and the Terms of the survey instruction.

 

6.1.4 you have provided a current address, telephone number and e-mail address and will notify us immediately if your contact details change;

 

6.1.5 you are over 18 years of age and have the capacity of taking responsibility for your own actions;

 

6.2 We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to refuse to provide any of our services to you.

 

7.              OWNERSHIP, USE AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

 

7.1           The Site and all intellectual property rights in it including but not limited to any content are owned by us, our licensors or both (as applicable). Intellectual property rights means rights such as: copyright, trade marks, domain names, design rights, database rights, patents and all other intellectual property rights of any kind whether or not they are registered or unregistered (anywhere in the world). We and our licensors reserve all of our and their rights in any intellectual property in connection with these Terms. This means, for example, that we and they remain owners of them and free to use them as we and they see fit.

 

7.2           Nothing in these Terms grants you any legal rights in the Site other than as necessary to enable you to access the Site. 10.1           House to Home shall only be liable under these Terms for losses which are reasonably foreseeable and caused by our breach of these Terms or our negligence.

If you use this Site for any commercial or business purpose we will have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

 

10.3           Nothing in these Terms excludes any statutory rights which may apply to your use of this Site and associated services which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by contract.

 

10.4           We shall have no liability to you for any breach of these Terms caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, strikes, lock-outs or other industrial disputes; breakdown of systems or network access; or flood, fire, explosion or accident.

12.           GENERAL

 

12.1        The provisions of these Terms are personal to you and you cannot assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Terms.

 

12.2        We can assign our respective rights and obligations under these Terms.

 

12.3        These Terms are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of them or the services available from them in the English courts. If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland you can bring legal proceedings in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.

 

12.4        If any provision of these Terms is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable that will not affect the legality, validity or enforceability of any other provision of these Terms.

 

12.5        A person who is not a party to these Terms has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these Terms & Conditions.​
